Open Season

The gofutsal website (www.gofutsal.com) has movie contests all the time for registered members. Simple contests really, just answer damn ez questions.

Tried my luck, and was pleasantly surprised to find my username in the list of winners for the Open Season contest.

The moderator, st3wart gave me 4 passes instead of 2 and he even game me an exclusive water bottle from the movie Zoom. Thanks a lot man.

Family affair...

One day I was asked to go to an electrical outlet in Cheras Leisure Mall to pick up an iron.The cordless steam type, quite expensive. 2nd prize of the 2nd round I tink. Got 3 rounds with 3 prizes each. While signing for it, I saw the winner's name for the 1st prize of the 3rd round. It was my father-in-law...Wow..menang washing machine....they send to kpg...the guy told me kalu ada hadiah utk Grand prize from all 3 rounds, mmg that entry menang laa...hehe..

Gitar lagi...

Kalu x silap, guitar dah menang 5 kali (total)...including twice First Prize for AIM (tahun 10 and 11 kalu x silap), among other gifts.

This one mmg surprise laa..dpt surat kata menang 7th prize..kontest apa ntah..so one day, bile lalu Cheras, i called laa..tanya bole ker amik hadiah tu skang? bole..ok, i on the way...

imagine my shock when i saw it was a guitar! 7th prize pun guitar? kalu first prize apa ek? camana nak bwk..aku naik motor..kotak nyer besar betul...ada appt pi customer lagi..adush..

last2 mintak postpone appt ngan customer and buang kotak tu...guitar letak kat bakul and sandar kat badan...hehe..nasib baik x ujan..gitar karan ooo..yamaha pacifica...

King Arthur in London!

This was by far the biggest prize we won, about 2 years ago. Someone from Buena Vista Columbia Tristar called me on a Saturday afternoon i tink to tell me I was going to London on Wednesday...wow..and my passport had less than 6 months b4 expiring, so had to renew it.

long story short...the contest is a slogan-writing one, for the movie King Arthur. The grand prize was a trip to London, 4D3N to watch the European premiere of the movie. I brought my sis and we had a great time of coz..cudnt spend much (no money laa), but we did meet an uncle (from Brunei) of ours and stayed a night at his place...
wish i went to highbury..hehe

Time to put it on record...

Dah lama nak buat ni..tapi asyik bz jer..tapi after yesterday, mmg aku kene buat laa...sebab aku letih nak crita kat org, senang org baca/tgk kat sini...plus nak keep some sort of record...and to pay homage to the one person who made it all possible..tp aku tak nak sebut sapa laa..yg dah tau, pls keep it to urself...

so wat happened yesterday? Lepas sampai KL dari Perak,we all went to HSL at the Curve, to pick up a 42" LG Plasma TV. Diorang call my wife last week masa kitorang kat Miri..told us to wait for the letter. Grand Prize oooo...Alhamdulillah...

Nasib baik muat kereta...Wish we could have picked up the tv earlier, antar kampung, tp mcm muat...so letak at our house ler dulu..my son say "abg nak pinjam jer"...hehe...

this is the latest prize...Actually mmg byk...t-shirt, key-chain, handphone (3 kot, including yg my wife and i skang guna), cd, kasut, iron, mesin basuh (2), dvd player...etc,etc...
before this, about 2 weeks ago, I went to Karangkraf (dah byk kali pi situ), to pick up not 1, but 2 prizes, altho actually one of them i lambat amik..nasib baik they still give...a sony CD walkman, and a futsal ball...receptionist tu ckp, asyik menang jer org Bote ni...dia pun org Bote...hehe..Walkman Pak Ngah dah bwk balik kpg, bg Pak Su...bola Pak Su bagi Burhan..tp ayahnyer la yg amik kot..wakakaka
